We were delighted to be speaker at the Resolve Poverty annual Conference 2026.
Over two incredible days and 500+ delegates and over 50 speakers came together to share ideas, and insights on how we can collectively build momentum in the fight against poverty.
Our CEO Muna Yassin took part in two sessions both centred around the crucial role advice plays in alleviating financial difficulty amongst communities.
First up was the ‘Advice for All’ session, where we shared learning from our ‘Grow Your Own Advice’ project. The programme is designed to widen access and representation in specialist advice roles. ‘Advice for all’ means underserved, racialised communities are vital in our advice workforce – and not just frontline.
Next there was a session dedicated to community-based debt advice. Exploring its unique ability to ensure equitable access and outcomes for financially vulnerable households. We made the case that funding models need a mix of the quality and complexity community based debt advice organisations provide, alongside the volume contracts that exist.
