Experts in debt advice
Since 2001, our team has worked with over 19,000 Londoners, putting them on the pathway to financial freedom and resilience. In money terms, this equates to £74.9 million of debt managed. This year, we’re hoping to advise even more people through difficulties caused by the cost-of-living crisis.
Advice for everyone
We’re committed to making money and debt advice accessible, for everyone. The people we work with come from all walks of life and so do we. We employ advisers from all backgrounds, not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because we are the communities we serve.
Fighting for financial inclusion
For too long, there has been an inequality in financial services, and the people delivering financial advice all looked and sounded the same. We’re working to change that.
We believe financial inclusion creates happier people, and a better society. To make our vision a reality, we are working with key stakeholders at industry and government level to amplify the voices of marginalised communities and tackle inequalities.
Through our work, we want to level out money advice, so it’s accessible and designed inclusively for all. We’re also working towards better financial and welfare policies to support those who need it most.
Rooted values
Our values are the foundation for everything we do, how we behave and how we treat others. Rooted Finance is about destigmatising debt, creating positive futures, and changing outcomes for groups who have traditionally been at a disadvantage in society.
We strongly value and believe in a life of dignity, and all of us have this fundamental human right. Money struggles have a way of stripping dignity away. That’s why we lead with respect, choice and agency.
