We were privileged to have our CEO Muna Yassin in attendance at the #EthnicityPayGap summer networking event, hosted by Dianne Greyson.
The Ethnicity Pay Gap is both a driver and symptom of the #EthnicityPremium – a hidden tax on people from minority ethnic communities. It hinders financial well-being and economic potential. The ‘ethnicity premium’ is not just a statistical anomaly; it’s a lived reality for countless individuals from a minority ethnic background. We very much look forward to working with Dianne Greyson and her team as part of our #EquityInFinance project led by Rooted and Money A+E.
What is the Ethnicity Pay Gap Campaign? Established in 2018, with its main aim and purpose to raise awareness of the issues relating to the Ethnicity Pay Gap and to encourage the government to make Ethnicity Pay Gap reporting mandatory. The Campaign is also calling on the government to ensure that businesses fully demonstrate that they are taking every action to close the gap.
